This Easter, I am reflecting on this request: “Tell me a story.” We as Catholics have the greatest story ever told: Jesus’ Resurrection.
But we aren’t sharing this story. CLI’s Disciple Maker Index (DMI) survey reveals that 92% of Catholics believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead for us. YET…
- Only 18% of Catholics feel strongly equipped to share this story.
- 27% have never once shared the story of Jesus with another person.
What would a future be like if no one talked about Jesus and the joy we are about to experience on Easter Sunday? Catholic Leadership Institute is not willing to find out. Our goal is to lead souls to Heaven. On Easter, we celebrate and rejoice how Jesus gave his life so that we may be with Him in Heaven. That’s what CLI’s work is all about: helping more souls know Jesus. Whether we are helping parishes become more welcoming, coaching a pastor, or helping a diocese plan for the future, that goal is always present in our hearts.

When children ask, “Can you tell me a story?”…
