Thomas Lenz

Leadership Consultant

Thomas Lenz is a Senior Consultant with Millennia Consulting, a Chicago-based firm that serves the nonprofit, faith, public, and foundation sectors. Prior to joining Millennia, Mr. Lenz was Lead Organizer for two broad based citizen organizing projects affiliated with the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF). He has also been a Senior Fellow in community development at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Great Cities Institute and directed the Chicago office of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a national financial intermediary that channels corporate investment into inner city neighborhoods.

Mr. Lenz graduated with a B.A. in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame and has a Masters in Urban Planning and Policy from UIC. He and his wife, Suzanne, live in Evanston, Illinois and are members of St. Nicholas Parish.
