Mary Serafino

Communications Manager

Mary joined Catholic Leadership Institute with nearly a decade of communications experience in nonprofit sectors, specializing in missions related to priestly formation, the prolife movement, and advocacy for children with disabilities. A versatile storyteller and writer, Mary brings a creative edge to her work across multiple mediums, including video and graphic design.

An active member at the historic Basilica of St. Louis the King, “The Old Cathedral,” Mary is also a catechist in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and is trained to serve infants, toddlers, and children ages 3-6. She teaches in the atrium at St. Francis Xavier College Church.

Mary enjoys cooking, hiking, watercolor painting, and traveling the world. Mary studies children's literature and is currently writing a book for children on the concept of pilgrimage. Sunday is her favorite day of the week when friends often visit and make themselves at home for brunch or dinner.
