Fr. Steve Verhelst

Fr. Steven J. Verhelst was ordained a priest for the Diocese of New Ulm, Minnesota in 1990. Since his ordination Fr. Steve has shepherded two multi-parish communities known as "Area Faith Communities” in his diocese. He is currently the pastor of three parishes known as the Catholic Area Faith Community of Jesus Our Living Water and serves as the Director of Priest Personnel for the diocese. Fr. Steve continues to serve on numerous diocesan councils. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, Fr. Steve obtained his Master's degree from the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
