Allan Caballero
Philanthropy Catalyst
Allan Caballero joined Catholic Leadership Institute in the Summer of 2022 as a Philanthropy Catalyst. Allan has nearly a decade of experience in non-profits having served as a volunteer, board member, and director. At Catholic Leadership Institute, prospect research and management to ensure fundraising goals are his main priority. This includes the collaboration with Major Gift Officers in the development and maintenance of portfolios, strategic planning, donor pipeline, and facilitating regular strategy meetings with front-line officers.
Prior to joining CLI, Allan worked as Director and fundraising professional for various Catholic organizations including the Diocese of Metuchen, the Archdiocese of Newark, and the Archdiocese of Miami. His work in fundraising includes leading annual giving initiatives and successfully coordinating marketing and operations such as special events, direct mail appeals, online giving, and the training of 100+ fundraising volunteers. Under Allan’s leadership, the annual fund at the Archdiocese of Newark increased by 11% ($700,000+) and the number of donors by 8% (2,000+ new donors) to a new total of over $6.5 million in annual contributions and 24,000+ annual donors.
Allan serves on the Executive Board of the Catholic Campus Ministry's Association and has had the privilege to be a member of the Executive Board of Perth Amboy Catholic Schools, Koinonia’s Academy’s Development Committee, and was a Catholic Missionary in various Latin American countries for many years. He holds a B.S. in Management and Leadership from Rutgers University and a Master’s in Education from Franciscan University of Steubenville.
Allan and his wife, Veronica, are the parents of three daughters and live in the Archdiocese of Miami.
