EMBOLDEN THE CLERGY:
Your Gifts to CLI in Action
Dear Friends and Benefactors of Catholic Leadership Institute,
My name is Bishop Kevin Rhoades, Bishop of Fort Wayne-South Bend, IN. I am one of 295 bishops who have benefitted from philanthropy to Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI).
I have been blessed to see CLI at work in my diocese. Specifically, they have been on the ground working with our parishes and supporting, loving, and guiding our priests. Walking with CLI is crucial for us at this time given the young age of many pastors in our diocese. Thanks to CLI, these priests are courageous, constantly learning how to lead their flock, and at peace with their calling and God’s hope for their life.
I invite you to meet Fr. Jason. Fr. Jason is young, smart, faithful, ready to serve, and has a business background. Yet, he was not fully prepared to lead a parish. But Catholic Leadership Institute helped him get there. Our priests need guidance to learn to lead like our Lord. Our parishes deserve it. Our pews will fill when they live it. Our future will be forged when they master it.
One of the most beautiful things we can witness this side of heaven is the light of Christ shining brightly through our priests. Because of your generosity to CLI, priests have the skills, knowledge, and confidence for that light to flow beautifully through them and out into their congregations. My diocese, my priests, and my fellow bishops thank you.
Emboldened and grateful,
Bishop Rhoades
