So too, the mission of forging the future of our Church requires teamwork and partnerships. Today, I am blessed to introduce you to a valued partner in philanthropy and ministry for Catholic Leadership Institute: OSV Institute for Catholic Innovation.
OSV Institute has been a major philanthropic partner to Catholic Leadership Institute, most recently as the foundational investor in bringing Next Generation Parish to the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. OSV Institute has been a valued collaborator in innovation and thinking differently for our Church. But what impresses and inspires us most about OSV is that they never stop challenging what is possible for our Church.

Today, I am sharing one of those challenges with you: The OSV Institute for Catholic Innovation is offering a unique challenge that will award five $100,000 grants to forward-thinking, creative parishes.

About OSV Institute for Catholic Innovation
Over 100 years ago, Archbishop Noll, former Bishop of Fort Wayne, founded OSV using new methods and new approaches to communicate the Gospel. Innovation is at the core of OSV. As a dynamic extension of and aligned with the mission of OSV, OSV Institute for Catholic Innovation is focused on inspiring and encouraging innovative and impactful Church-related programs and activities to create an ecosystem for Catholic innovation by forging new paths for people to encounter the truth and beauty of the Catholic Church.
For close to a decade, OSV Institute has provided transformative grant funding that has allowed Catholic Leadership Institute to accompany and serve more leaders. Notably, OSV was the lead funder for bringing the Next Generation Parish endeavor to the Diocese of Fort Wayne- South Bend. Their lead gift has allowed priests and parishes to embark upon a four-year journey to catalyze, equip, and inspire their communities to thrive in the future. OSV has also been a driving force and valued friend in bringing training, fraternity, and accompaniment to our bishops through OSV’s investment in our Episcopal Ongoing Formation efforts and events.

The Challenge – The Opportunity – The Innovation
The OSV Challenge is a multi-round entrepreneurial competition designed to accelerate unique project ideas in any stage from Catholics whose faith motivates them to make a difference.
OSV is inviting and seeking people with ideas ready to impact the Church that deserve to be nurtured, cultivated, and taken to new heights. The OSV Challenge invests over $1 million dollars annually in these Catholic innovators to make this happen.
What is new this year is that the OSV Institute has developed four new tracks for applications to the OSV Challenge for the purpose of expanding relevant content and uncovering how best to support the dynamic and different needs of each track.
OSV is generously offering the opportunity to win one of five $100,000 prizes, with at least one winner per each track.
