In Catholic Leadership Institute’s 30th Anniversary year, I have been thinking about all of the many beautiful, generous gifts I have been humbled to witness. I have also been thinking about and praying about the greatest gift of all: God’s gift of His Son on the cross so that we may be freed from sin.
From that gift flowed forth many others.
Through His great sacrifice, Jesus gave us peace, the Holy Spirit, His friends, joy, and His life. He gave us potential, as a Church and as his disciples.
When I founded CLI 30 years ago, the heart of our mission was helping Catholic leaders identify their God-given gifts and use them for His glory. That is still true 30 years later.
Each time you make a gift to Catholic Leadership Institute, you make it possible for a special Church leader to share his or her gifts more fully and with greater joy.
Just like Jesus’ gift… from your gifts flow so many others.
Your gifts bring peace to thousands of priests by helping them best grow their talents and live their vocations. Your gifts ignite bishops, seeking fraternity and formation in leadership, with the courage and fire of the Holy Spirit. Your gifts have equipped lay leaders of all ages and demographics to share their faith and their many talents so that we have more friends in Christ at our parishes. Your gifts provide evangelization support, discipleship training, and channels for new leaders to rise up from the pews to share their gifts so that more people may come to experience the joy of the resurrection. Your gifts allow the Next Generation to learn about His life so that they may serve Him and love Him for decades to come.
And that’s just in the FIRST 30 years.
There is potential for more. Let’s continue to give our gifts back to God together so that Catholic Leadership Institute’s next 30 years of ministry are just as blessed as the first 30.
