Dear Friends,
As someone who has worked for years in a parish, I know that it is a labor of love. It is joyful, rewarding, beautiful, and important. But it can also be exhausting, overwhelming, and so challenging. (Especially during the Christmas season!)
When I think about the work that CLI does, we strengthen what is beautiful about our parishes and give support to what may feel daunting.
I invite you to watch this video and meet Donna, a dedicated parish staff member who has gone from overwhelmed and stressed to purposeful and hopeful. You will see how our Next Generation Parish ministry is a source of hope, help, and as Fr. Tim Murphy says in the video “humility.”
I was struck by Donna’s words at the conclusion the video: “Through CLI and because of the changes I have seen in my parish, now I can celebrate the future.”
